Today Mazara is widely considered to be one of the most important fishing centres of Italy. Mazara made national news in March 1998, when a bronze statue called the Dancing Satyr was found off the port, at a depth of 500 meters in the Strait of Sicily by a local fishing boat. The statue is believed to have been sculpted by Greek artist Praxiteles and is now on display to the public in a dedicated museum in the city.
The regular winds make of Mazara del vallo a perfect place for all sailing sport, infact it is destination for lovers of kite and wind surf from all over the world because it is also listed in ideal location for sailing sport.
The beach change a lot from one end to the other of the coast. One can admire rocky coasts as Bocca Arena and Torretta Granitola, while completely different is Tonnarella with its large sandy beach.

The apartment placed to the first floor of a building in a folkloristic street is made up of a wedding bedroom, a room with two single beds in bank bed. The kitchen is equipped of all crockery needed and also of stove, fridge, oven, fan, table and chairs. In the living room is a single bed sofa and the TV equipped of Digital Terrestrial Television. The bathroom is equipped of shower and hair dryer. At disposal of the guest is a laundry with washing machine and a portable clothesline.

The most near beach is 500 m far and very close to the apartment are food markets.
Terms of stay:
to the price of stay must add 200 euro for deposit refundable at the end of the stay if the landlord or his representatives are satisfied that no damage is caused to the property.
